We occupied Saddell House from the 9th to the 16th of November 2009. If anything, this felt more remote and isolated than Fort Clonque did in the first /dev/fort.

The second /dev/fort was held in Knockbrex Castle, Scotland, between May 30th and June 6th, 2009.

The first /dev/fort

Planned earlier that summer, in late November 2008 a dozen of us piled into a bus with wings for the flight to Alderney. Fort Clonque is a 19th century fort now owned and maintained by The Landmark Trust, and served as the perfect base of operations for our week.
